I have looked over the hacks section pretty thoroughly, and havent seen anything along the lines of what I would like. Im not even sure if it is even possible.
At our forums we have a great number of posters who use HTML within their posts, and I am rather accustomed to it as well, but am wondering if it would be possible to exclude certain tags. In particular, I would like to be able to disable the script tag. Is there any possibility that such a limitation could be hacked into the software? |

I'm not sure it this'll work, because I don't know what's done first, parsing message or censoring words.
Anyway, try to add the script tag to the list of censored words. |

DOH! Why didn't I think if that. Worked like a dream.
No more scripts or applets now. Thanks.

Heh. I always seem to find complicated ways of doing things. I was going to suggest making a 1x1 transparent emoticon that's triggered by the <script> tag.
