Upgrade VB 3.8.3 to 5 possible with custom pages?
How difficult or even possible is it to upgrade VB 3.8.3 to the newest version of VB 5? I have hundreds of additional custom pages added to my site right now and wonder too if these would be rendered unusable with the upgrade or would they still work? All help appreciated.

They would almost certainly not work.
Nor would any other addons you have, or any custom styles. Unless you have some really compelling reason to upgrade, then dont. If you just want the latest version of vB3 (for php compatability and security reasons) then go for 3.8.10 or 3.8.11 (Beta). All of your pages, addons and styles should (mostly) survive that move ok. |
