[SOLVED]Please.. No one can post [ODD]
Hi!
I am somewhat new to configuring vBulletin, but I am not web illiterate. I'm pretty sure everything is the way it should be, so I don't know what's causing this.. I have a new forum - @ http://playocl.net running 4.2.2 In Forum Permissions, I have: Can Post Threads Yes Can Reply to Own Threads Yes Can Reply to Others' Threads Yes In Usergroup Permissions, I have the same setting. In Usergroup FORUM level permissions, I have the same settings. But no one can post correctly... new threads come through, quick replies get moderated, and replies are undetermined. One person told me he didn't have permissions to post, the other told it's as simply as nothing happening. I have 2 posts in my moderation queue now, while "moderate new posts/threads/etc" is NOT enabled on any of these forums.. The weird thing is, when I view INDIVIDUAL user permissions, I see this.. Can Post Threads No Can Reply to Own Threads No Can Reply to Others' Threads No How could that be? New registered users seem to be getting all flagged "no" for those things. I created my own registered user account and I can replicate ALL of these issues. Hell, one of these moderated posts are mine. I know it's something stupid - a permission setting that just whizzed by or something. Perhaps a spam plugin? But I have none running.. don't even have recaptcha, I just have a custom question. I want to just force change individual user permissions, but if I could create a new account and have these same issues I am really scared to just do that. I might just try changing the "registered user" usergroup to something else if I get fed up eventually. EDIT; FTR - spam management is disabled. All posts are currently getting moderated. I have rechecked ALL settings.. and even followed this: https://www.vbulletin.com/forum/foru...eing-moderated Still happening. EDIT2; Resolved. I just created a new usergroup instead of "registered users" and it seems to have fixed the issue after assigning members too it and setting it as default. I don't know why, but the original "registered users" usergroups in 4.2.2 seem to be out of whack for me. |
