Anyone using Revive adserver?
Is anyone using the Revive adserver? And if so, what'd you do to get it to work? I installed the adserver, followed a basic tutorial which stepped through creating website, campaign, advertiser, banner, linking, then use invocation code but I can't get anything to appear... even if I just plop the code in its own html file and viewing the file separate from vbulletin I can't get anything to appear.

Hey mate, I'm looking to use this as part of an upgrade of a few forums from VB4 to VB5... I used to use a ad rotation add-in, but it doesn't work on VB5.
Can you give me any tips on install and use? |

*Sometimes if you upgrade and issues occur, ensure your zones and such are setup properly, ensure all the banners in a set zone are the correct size, if not it can cause issue with displaying properly. There are also rare cases where upgrades will not work properly, for that you'll need to reference my article on URLJet for assitance - http://www.urljet.com/forumhost/upgr...ive-ad-server/ |

My recommendation would be to stay on vb4 and not to upgrade to vb5. It's awful. Seriously. Biggest mistake I ever made - all my users complain how much they hate the new forums and I'm stuck and can't go back. Activity dropped significantly after "upgrading" to vb5.

yeah, I know what you mean. I believe the latest update for VB4 is the last, so at some stage, we are all going to have to move across.
I've migrated one of my 'not used' much boards across on the weekend, will now spend the time trying to get it back to VB4 condition :-) |
