Limit number of pages opened in seconds?

Is there a Mod/addon on vBulletin that allow us to limit an user to open pages (maximum pages) in seconds

for example

An user/member is allowed to open 15 web pages (threads) at the same time, if exceeds this, we will have an alert like

You have the ability to read as fast as the light?
You have exceeded the limited number of views in a unit of time allows.

This will avoid overloading a forum when some users can open more pages at the same time.

That's not possible unfortunately, it's how the world wide web works. Even if it was possible with the use of cookies, IP checks, flash cookies, etc. it's still easy to bypass.

You can however throttle the amount of requests that are sent to the server within a certain amount of time. (More of a DoS protection feature) This can be done in the configuration file of your web-server. You should probably ask your host to do that though. Just keep in mind that this way is far from perfect and I would just leave it as it is.

You can also use NIX load limit though I would not recommend using it and it is not exactly doing what you requested. If your server is getting overloaded though it may help in a pinch though it is not the ideal solution.

A better solution would be to upgrade your server or streamline and optimize your website.

The nuber of people doing that would be very small, plus, its only really an issue if they open a large number at the same time. Opening one after the other should not be a problem.

If you have overload issues then you need to fix the server.
