Help cutting down the article preview length
For many years I've opted to have the full article length show in the front page of vBulletin 4.2 CMS, but I'm now running a site that I need to have that "Read More" link at the bottom and only show a portion of the article, so that its all uniform and there are no gaps between articles. I've attached a screen shot of what I want to do with my articles. I know its a setting, but for the life of me I cannot find it since I have not used it in years. I've tried several things and none of them seem to work.
Here is what my basic article setup is like: 1. I'm using "Static Page" to create articles. My current settings for an article: Published = yes Comments = off Permission preview = yes Display Title = yes Display Author = no Display Published Date = no Full Display in Section Page = no Display Updated Date = no Display Pageviews = no Show Ratings = no Use Settings For: Content Page & Section Page Show on Section Page = yes Make available for subnav = no Searchable = yes Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks. I can provide a link to the site via PM if you need to see the site. Its an adult site. |
