forum page only going to page 20 ?

ok so I have a forum setup and when I go to the forum and can see all the topics
but if I go to the bottom of the threads I can navigate to different pages
but it doesnt go past 20 (no option)
every time a new thread is created the oldest one disappears from page 20
but I have made a copy of the url and they still exist

Go to the forum page > turn on Site Builder > Edit Page > Edit Channel Display Module > set Latest Activity Max Pages to what you want
