Search engine problem
When I am logged in as the Admin, the search engine works fine. If I log in as a regular user, the search engine does not come up with recent threads for the search option. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

Regular user might not have permissions to view the posts. Check permissions and try again.

This isn't the issue - it does display posts from the search for users other than the admin, but not all of them, especially the most recent month or so posts! This doesn't just happen with one user - it happens with all users who are not the admin.

Did you try rebuilding your search table in maintenance?

Not yet, but I am curious as to why I get a complete list of results when logged in as admin and an incomplete list of results when logged in as regular user? I've checked all the settings for different user types and don't see any differences when it comes to the search permissions.

Did you check forum permissions in addition to usergroup permissions?

Yes.

Do you use vBSEO or another addon that allows to turn off certain AJAX functionality based on usergroups?

Then check your vBSEO config. Or even better: get rid of it, unless you really know what you're doing.
