Forum Main Page
On a friendly note.
How would one go about making the main page. Like this image: Being unable to view forums until logged in, of course with a registration button aswell on that page? Kinda like a mainpage with a logo or w/e, and you can't access the forums unless you either register or have a login already? |

If your not already using it, install german language phrases and turn it on to receive this display
Me is no coder, but you could make a new login/starting page with the elements shown (link the buttons to the login/register files) and on the "original" ones like "forum.php", "index.php" just check if the user is logged in, if not redirect to login page. |

You want your forums and posts kept private? You do realize that this will completely kill your seo?

Pretty easy, hook into one of the first few hooks that get executed, check if logged in, if not, force that template to be shown and exit the script.
