Group site broken after layout change
Long time lurker here who is new to vb5.
Yesterday i got my new vb5 site installed and managed to wrap my head around the basic stuff. it indeed is quite a change from vb3 :O I went to install a theme (futuris) and tryed to adopt the group site to a single column layout. I changed the single column layout to a new site template (group_home_futuris) to not mess with the default template. Now i have the problem that the group site is completely empty (seems all the modules have vanished on theyre own) and i cant revert to the default group_home template. Im always getting an error saying that i cant delete system modules when trying to switch back to the default group_home template. Anyone has an idea how i can fix this again? Is my workflow wrong? |

What version? Does it do the same thing when using the default vbulletin style? If so, this issue would be best handled on the support forum at vbulletin.com as it is a software issue. I had this happen one time and the pagetemplate had to be restored at the database level. Don't know why it happened and it hasn't happened again.

Obviously your layout or styles could be overwritten by new theme thus you could not restore even with frivolous theme, if I am not wrong in this case.
