Make avatar functions a top-level cp feature, like here

I've noticed that in the control panel here, the way to change your avatar is no longer in the edit options screen, but rather on its own screen now. I'd like to do that. Can that be released as a hack by whoever did it here (assuming FireFly)?

Well this isn't too hard. All you need to do is add:

$bbuserinfo[avatarurl]

To your top usercpnav template.

Isn't that what's used to actually display the avater, in other words you put that inside an <img ...> tag to show the avatar? That's not what I want. Please re-read my request.

Oh duh! Well this is easy too.. Use this URL for a seperate page for Avatars:

I figured that part out on my own. I was hoping for a complete hack, including setting up the cp nav bar so that the appropriate link cell was highlighted, and all the other extra stuff that goes beyond finding the actual link to use.

I followed your instructions but I need to ask a couple of questions to make sure I won't have any problems with it in the future. If I do the listings in the files as you said (8 follows 7) but list it between 4 and 5 in the usercpnav file so it shows the 4th from the beginning of the top navbar in the usercp (bewteen Options and Change Password like it is here at vb.org), it seems to work fine and I shouldn't have any problems with it there right? (Even though I have it as 3 then 8 then 4 in usercpnav). And how do I make it hightlight the Avatar link cell when it is chosen? Thanks in advance.
