Sections vs Categories
I am running vB Suite 4.2.3. For life of me, I cannot figure out why I would choose categories over sections.
What do categories give me that sections do not. 1) I can sort each section various ways, I cannot sort categories at all. 2) I can change the display order of sections, but not categories. 3) I can make sub-sections as well as sub-categories. What am I missing here? |

An article can be in one and only one section, but it can be assigned to multiple categories. On our site, we have a section titled "Jigs and Fixtures," and an article in that section, for example, can belong to the category "Fence attachments" as well as the "Traditional TableSaw" category.

So, if I do not have a need to assign articles to multiple categories, the "Sections" are all I need?
