Default I'm bringing back Facebook Connect!
Just wanted to let those of you who care know, I'm bringing it back =) got some things to work out and add but its functional right now =)

There are PLENTY of vb4 devs, and pretty much no active vb3 devs. MANY forums still use vb3, I'm pretty comfortable staying with vb3, but if the demand is high enough I may upgrade some.

I really love the 'share' post thing, but would of course be better if it was for Twitter

I prefer twitter myself, I'm only resurrecting a broken product that was marked re usable =) I've got a separate plugin for twitter in the midst although it wont have twitter connect.

and I need to know... Im getting tons of traffic from this thread to my dev site.... yet not one person has subscribed... yes its a dev site but I got to know is the facebook connect working for you guys?

greig - you'll have an option in your usercp at the bottom since you're already a member.

the one in the vb4 section is broke, its supposed to be compatible with vb3 and 4 and my fixes dont work on it, but the one in the vb3 section is the one i managed to get working. that one is not compatible with vb4.

There's too much to list that ive changed but for getting you in the right direction, if you can manage to install the vb4 one and get functionality working to the point where it errors on the trying to connect with facebook part, thats where you want to take a look at the console and see where the errors are. a little googling and bam works.

but YAFB (the product im basing this from) is outdated and facebook has changed alot so im adding more features, and got to polish it all up quite a bit, shoot profile links didnt even work when i got this working lol.

and thanks for confirming its working just noticed you signed up, so many people were checking it out from this thread but i had no idea if it was even functioning properly for you guys lol.

but since when doesnt fb connect not work in default vb4? didnt even know lol
