Viewing attachment question
I've re-enabled guests/not logged in to be able to see attachments.
But what are they really looking at? Is it pictures in the albums or is it pictures in a thread. I have had an increase of visitors and search bots come in and look at attachments and a decrease of threads looked at. |

You might use robots.txt
User-agent: * Disallow: /attachment.php If I understood what is your problem. Maybe some one else has a better solution. |

Although I appreciate you responding, that is not what I'm asking. I just want to know what they are looking at. Is it a image in the albums or is it a image in one of the threads?

Ah, for sure are images in threads,
but depended and what settings you have to show about albums to visitors they look in there to. |

Well after observing 25 bots and guests for half an hour, only one was actually looking at a thread. So I guess that means another long day adjusting the htaccess and the robot.txt. Got to figure out how to keep them from just looking at the albums and nothing else.
Every time I turn the attachment function on it winds up like this. If I didn't self host pics at other forums it would stay off. |
