I would like to see a feature that would do the following.

When someone is posting a new thread or reply, they would have an option the "Send as News" which would send a copy of that post to a specified e-mail address and/or make a duplicate post in a "News" forum category.

There is already a feature in vb that e-mails a specified address when a new post is added to a specified forum so the last part should be easy, it's just getting the "Send as news" option added.

The reason this would help me is because I have a high traffic forums and would like to know about certain things as it seems to get posted in my forums before I can report it as news.

Would anyone else find this useful?

i know that Logician made something similiar of a news system if you want to view his profile... regards...
