Add "re:" to email notifications
OK....I have my forum setup so that I received emails of all new threads and posts via email. I get a LOT of emails but it is the best way for me to keep with all that is going on. Just my preference.
Here's the problem. I mostly use a Macbook Pro as my primarily computer. It used to group all emails by subject so I could just read the first post of a new subject and determine if I needed to go through all of them or not. With the El Capitan software update, email is no longer grouped by subject unless the subject line uses "re". Since email notices from VBulletin do not add "re" to replies to posts, it no longer groups the emails. Does anybody know a way to add "re" to the title or the posts? UPDATE: I would delete this thread if I could. I just changed the posting settings to automatically quote the thread title for new posts. Don't know yet but maybe that will do what I am looking for. --------------- Added [DATE]1454252462[/DATE] at [TIME]1454252462[/TIME] --------------- Well, that didn't work. It still doesn't add "re" to the email notifications. |

You can add "re" by editing phrase notify in phrase group Email Subject Text
Re: Reply to thread '$threadinfo[prefix_plain]$threadinfo[title]'] |
