Recoding vBSocial 10 for vb3 ??

I like this mod,vBSocial 10, but it is not compatible with vb3.
I tried to install vBSocial 9.5 , but I faced many errors, and of course the site didn’t work at all until I uninstalled it.

Yesterday , at a desperate move I installed vBSocial 10 on vb3 to see what will happen. Surprisingly, I faced no errors at all !!! the site worked with no problems !!! I could see the options for the mod and change them (look at the picture) !!!

I know the code is complently different ,but is there a way that any coder here try to see if he may get the notifications to appear by writing the needed code into the default theme ?
At least try for messages or example .
