Looking for an idea
Hello all.
A bit of a conundrum here. I am a little short of which direction to take at this point. What I wanted to do initially was to have the first post at the top of every thread. The idea then developed. Ideally I want to see the first post above the editor. https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/attachmen...1&d=1447360281 Or to the side of the editor. https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/attachmen...1&d=1447360281 Basically, to have the first post in view of the user all the while they are making a response. I thought about editing a template that would echo the first post at the top of the thread and place it above the editor at the bottom of the thread. Or it could be in a floating side bar left or right but always in view. But would that be visible on a mobile device? I even thought about floating the editor in the same manner as the conversation toolbar or having it hidden until the user required it by clicking on some icon embedded at the bottom of every post. Anybody have any other ideas of how to approach this? Bit stuck on where to go. Any kick in the right direction welcomed. . . Thanks all. . . |

The drain was blocked from the beginning. Just have to figure a way to unblock it without breaking the house.
Still none the wiser. . . Thanks. . |

It has no more different between 2 versions and I think you should choose the #1 option which I think its better for viewing.

I like the Facebook method. Clicking on a picture and having the editor appear at the side. Not sure how it would work on mobile though. Not tried that yet. Thanks for your response. . . |
