Help with creating different post styles

Do you know GaiaOnline.com? In their forum you can chose to use "post style A" which is a bubble, or "post style B" which is a normal table. This is not the exact case but I hope you can understand what I mean. Basically, when typing a new post I want my users to be able to choose on which style their posts will be shown in the thread. Eg. standard, bubble, document, etc. This would be really cool. I need it for vB 3.8.9. Can somebody help me?
