User table too big
Hello,
I have a site with 351.074 members and the user table is 795mb big which cause mysql to crash sometimes. I had no issues when i was on a dedicated server but after moving to vps level 5 ( which is highest) i get a lot "mysql gone away" errors. I can fix this by removing a lot inactive members but is there another solution like split the user table or something? Type: InnoDB Collation: utf8_unicode_ci Regards, final. |

I was looking into this at one point and I could not find any real useful solutions but there are many forums I have worked on with very, very large tables(usually post tables) with no issues. I mean 20 or 30 gig tables!
I think you need to go back to a dedi with that big of a site. If you are crashing now it is due to your host limiting your resources most likely. |
