Admin CP Profile Editor Question
In the AdminCP is there a way to limit what sub-admin groups can view? For example I have the DBTech Shop currencies listed and I do not want sub-admin groups to see this in the AdminCP User Editor. Any help with this will be appreciated.

There is a way to limit many default vbulletin areas in Usergroups > Administrator Permissions. But, for modifications, the modification developer would need to add in code to allow you to do it through the Administrator Permissions page.

Me thinks he wants to restrict the fields within the user editor page, so they cant see the messenger fields or website field i. e.
But me dont know any forum script or mod that can do this, its always either you can edit users (full profile) or you cant. The only "restriction" there is what moderators can edit in the ModCP (i. e. vB or MyBB). |

Alcazarx is right in the Admin CP User Editor. I want to block out certain sections to sub-admins. I was hoping there was a way to do this.

Not without custom coding. If a member can edit users they can edit all parts of a users profile.

Any idea on what file or template I need to edit?

From what you have said, I would guess the /admincp/user.php file.

Thanks Lynne I will look there, but I may post back with questions for suggestions on how to do what I am looking to do.

Okay after looking in there I have found that it does have the basic user editor page code in their but it does not appear that there is anything with the area that I am looking to hide. I attached a copy of the file. If you see a way to hide things on the admin panel please let me know as I have exhausted my knowledge, not that I am great at this. I may have missed what I was supposed to be looking for. I am looking to hide all the plugins from use.

You cannot upload a vbulletin file here. If you are trying to hide some modifications from your admins, you will need to ask in the modification thread if anyone knows how to only show the options to certain users.
