I'm trying to figure out how to go about creating frames for avatars that can be customized to some extent. I want users to be able to pick a frame from their control panel. At the very least I want to be able to assign frames per user or per usergroup.

I don't think there's any modifications available that already allow this. I was only able to find one for globally adding frames to avatars.

I suppose you can modify the modification you found and use a user profile field for users to pick the frame they want.
