I need some help.
are there any add on calendar mods for Vbulletin 4.2.1 that have more features than the built in calendar?

I don't recall ever seeing a calendar mod.
What exactly do you need that the default calendar does not provide?

The ability to import events and the ability to see more than 5 events per day on the calendar.

As far as I know there is no such thing already created. If you want to have this for your site you may have to pay a PHP Programmer to make something custom for your site. You can request help in the Paid Help area for that.
