BB Codes issue

hello! g'day to all!

re BB codes, such as [ img ] [ / img] is not working. Our forum version is 4.2.2 pl2.

Can someone tell me how can i fix this? Or is this a minor issue/bug of the version we installed?

Check Forum Manager > edit forum > make sure "Allow BB Code" and "Allow [IMG] Code" are set to Yes.

Are we talking about the BBcode in posts or signatures? If signatures, each usergroup has their own permission to allow BBCode or not. If posts, got an image example?

do you mean screen shot?

if i post ['img]http://i.imgur.com/04CsIAu.png[/'img] (without '), the image appears as link instead as image.

bb codes are all set to yes with usergroups as well (except html bb code)

And if you click the link do you see the image or is it a broken image? And if you go to the Forum > Settings > General Settings, under Thread Display Options, do you have a checkmark next to Display Images? How about AdminCP > Settings > Options > Message Attachment Options > View Images Inline - what is set there? Or Thumbnail Creation? And are attachments stored in the database or filesystem?

I was not talking about in the admincp. Go to your Forum page (forum.php) and then Settings (upper right corner)
