I have a plugin I'm using called Simple Additional Notification Alert. Unfortunately it's owner hasn't been online since last year, so it's unsupported, but it's a simple single file mod and I was hoping someone could help me. I'm basically trying to get this mod's notification bar to show up on the CMS (because it only shows up on forumhome; which I don't use). I loaded the file into Notepad++ hoping to isolate the code needed but I couldn't figure out what I needed or how to make a CMS widget out of it (I tried both the PHP and HTML one). Here is the coding of the plugin....can anyone give me a helping hand?

Remove that code from your post, and link to the addon. Even if the coder has not been online for a long time, you have no right to republish his code.
