New Google Mobile Search Criteria
Is there a skin or plug-in that satisfies the new Google search mobile criteria? This is for vB 4.X. Thank you for your help. 30% of our traffic mobile so this is a big deal.

If you are 4.x it is mobile friendly and google detects the same without any issues.
Please check which exact version to be sure.. |

You can test it here: https://www.google.co.uk/webmasters/...bile-friendly/

Yes we tried the 4.x mobile version but it is really bad, although it does pass the Google test. I don't even see a place where you can opt out and see the full site? It holds you hostage? Is it configurable at all? Does anybody here use it?

But while using any site powered by 4.x it takes you to mobile site first, you can goto desktop/full version from bottom of page which says desktop/full site *you can customize those words accordingly* |

My website comes up as passing the Mobilegeddon test as I have the vbulletin 'mobile style' installed also, but I guess it will only be a matter of time before silly Google want every website to be mobile responsive.
I was using my website as a potential Adsense revenue stream, I thought I had successfully carved out a unique niche, but never got the time to implement the ads. But I have decided to close it as I don't see trying to make an income from Adsense to be a viable future option for me, as Google just changes it's mind whenever it wants about what criteria you have to conform to or else your website just goes down the drain. I put too much work into my website to just let it go to nothing, but oh well I won't make the same mistake again. I don't have the resources to invest in a mobile responsive design and won't go with a third party who won't allow me to make money so will just let it go down the drain. |

Does anyone knows good mobile skin that passes Google mobile criteria? When I say good, I don't mean default mobile one that comes with vB and passes it, but looks bad in my opinion.
