Hey, and welcome to the new vBulletin.org!
 What first started as vBhacks.com more than a month ago, soon grew bigger and became what it is now; the official hacking site for vBulletin! We have moved the 'Code Hacks' forum from vBulletin.com over here, together with the sub forums, including releases, older hacks and of course the requests. We also set up a special forum for users who tried to install a certain hack, and messed up their vBulletin. May I remind you that forum is for hacked boards only! Another new forum is the 'Help!' forum. This is for users who started working on a hack, but can't quite finish it. That forum can also be used to ask general vBulletin Hacking questions, such as 'How can I set a cookie?', 'How do I add a setting?', etc. And last but not least, we have the 'Forum Commenting' forum. That forum is for you to just blatantly publicize your (vBulletin!) forums. People would love to visit them and give you feedback, whether it's design or content! As for the licensing issue, don't worry. We will treat this just like at vBulletin.com. A special script was set up to add usernames you are using on this forum (much like the one for vB.com), the link to it is in your User CP. It's setup so only licensed members can download attachments / post new posts / threads in the Releases, Help!, and Support forums. So if you're getting an error message there for some reason, this is probably why. By the way, there are rumors that this site isn't greatly viewed with Netscape... Please disregard these rumors, as they are false. If you are using Netscape and the site looks bad, try to click Alt+F4 and start up Internet Explorer. That should help... Currently your moderators are the same moderators from vBulletin.com, but that might change in the near future. I'd like to thank them for helping us here, and also thank Ed and Stallion for graciously giving us their site! By the way, the co-owner of this site is Lyle (aka Sinecure), so expect him to post here soon. Have a great time! ~~~ Registration: As you've probably already noticed, we have moved all threads over here. In order to keep your privacy, we haven't moved the users as well. That said, you will have to register here before you can post and/or contorl your older posts. Now you probably think, "Wait a minute, now someone will steal my username and impersonate me!". Wrong. If you are registering with a username that is used in any of the posts, you must use the same e-mail address that is used in vBulletin.com's forums. Again, this is to prevent people from nick-stealing. So even if someone uses your username and e-mail, you will get the confirmation e-mail, and among others also the password that person has selected. Don't worry, we have thought of everything! After you register, all your posts will be back with your user info. Your post count will also be updated, and you won't feel anything. Anything, except of course for the new things we have prepared for you! ~~~ New Features: I hope that by now you understand that this site is mainly for hacking. Sure you can talk about other things, but the main intention of this site is to give you hackers a nicer envrioment to work with, and you users a more friendly place to hang in. First and foremost, we have the new 'Un/Installed' feature. In threads for hacks (that are not yours!), you will see a big Install button at the top and bottom of the page, next to 'Post Reply'. By clicking it you are actually letting people know you have installed this hack. This is also used in forumdisplay screen, where you can see how many people installed each hack, and if you click the number, you will also get to see who installed it! By the way, this is reversible, you can also indicate you uninstalled a hack. Next we have the 'Send Update' thingie. If you're browsing threads for hack that are yours, you will see a 'Send Update' button instead of the 'Install' button. You can use that link to notify users about updates to your hack, such as addon, bug fix, new version compatibility, and more. But who's gonna get the update, you ask? This is where the 'Install' part comes in! Only users who installed the hack (and indicated that they did!) will get your update by e-mail. So here's another reason for users to click the 'Install' button... keep that in mind! Now let's get to a nice little addon, that should make life easier. Whenever you create a new thread for a hack, you will be given a drop down box to select a vBulletin version from. This is instead of that horrifying '[release v2.0.x]...' title that hacks used to have. Needless to say this number can also be edited later by simply clicking 'Edit' for the first post in that thread. You might noticed a 'Clear Session' link on the main page, right next to 'Log out' and 'Mark all forums read'. This is rather simple, yet I like it. If you're just visiting the forum to see if there are new posts, or checking your PM, and don't want your name to appear in Who's Online for 15 minutes after that, just click 'Clear Session', and your name will miraculously disappear! (I know you can set to be invisible, but this is just for the short term) There are some more cool things here and there, so let's see if you can find them all out! As far as we know, everything on this board works and we don't have any bugs. But that could be wrong... so please, if you find anything that is wrong, PM / e-mail either me or Sinecure! Moderators, you also got some new stuff to play with, but that's for another place.

Thank you for the welcome to this fine org.
However, I am registered with vBulletin.com and vBulletin.org says I am logged in, I still can not download hacks the system says I am not logged in. But I am logged in What do I need to do further? Thanks Garuda

Thanks for the e-mail. I followed your suggestion to register again. I only have one copy of vBulletin. This is my second attempt of the same message since the previous one did not go anywhere when I clicked on the submit button. So Iapologize if the other message ended somewhere else on this board. I am still unable to download. Looks like others are still having that same problem. What to do next? Thanks Garuda
