How to make 'send emails to users' work?
I have been trying to connect the vBulletin with my dedicated server for hours so I can use the option 'send emails to users' to send newsletters to my members but they are not going through. My host isn't helping either as they are saying they can only help with their server issues, and not third party softwares such as vB.
I believe I am entering the correct settings in the E-mail options page of AdminCP. Can anyone help me set this up please? |

Did you try Maintenance > Diagnostics > Email to see if you can send yourself a test email?
And on the Admin Control Panel home page, do you have anything for "Number of Queued Emails"? (It should the bottom of the right column of info). |

FYI, I am trying to use another IP of the same server to send emails. The IP that is hosting the website is not the same as the one that is sending emails. Emails from roundcube are going fine, but the vB is not sending the emails.

Number of queued mails is 0. Results of sending myself an email from diagnostics: No errors were returned while attempting to send the email. Check xxxxx@yahoo.com shortly to confirm you've received the email. If you don't receive the email, try sending the test to a different address. If that fails, check your mail server's configuration. Got the email too in my inbox. When I try to send from 'send email to users' option by ticking only administrators. The email does not get delivered to this same address (and another Gmail address of the other admin). |

Also if you have your personal user settings set to not receive emails from admin they won't get sent (unless you checked yes for "Include users that have declined admin emails" on the "send email to users" page), but if the result was that no emails were sent, you would have seen a message telling you that after hitting "submit". |
