[OzzModz] PM Users After Registered For A Week · **Released**: 01-30-2015

Another mod brought to you by,

This mod will Send a follow up PM to users that have been registered for seven days ( one week ).

The PM title, as well as the message that is sent is phrased, so you can translate it to your language.

It is a simple installation upload the contents of the UPLOAD folder, then import the product XML, ozzmodz_followup_pm

You can edit the options under the settings, [OzzModz] PM Users After Registered For A Week Settings

This was requested by, joeychgo, here, PM users have set time.

What does 'Marking As Installed' do ?

* It helps you to stay on top of updates - members who have installed modifications will be notified whenever new updates are available.

* For security issues - vbulletin.org will contact all members who have installed a modification whenever a security issue is brought to their attention.

* Marking a modification as installed also helps me know how many people are using my work, giving me extra incentive to provide more features and new modifications.

Interesting, when I received PM on your site telling me that I'm registered for one week, I thought you're making some new mod. And, you did. :up:

Anyway, just as suggestion, to check if user is registered for more than a week, as it would send PMs to all users registered longer than one week. Or it maybe already has that check in place? As I'm registered on your site much longer than one week and still received PM.

Yeah when that PM on my site went out, that was a mistake, and was early in testing. It now only sends one out if you are registered for 7 days only.

Can you add the option in the next update that we can decide how many days before the pm goes out

Well, that is kinda difficult, as the way the query is, it is set to only do it on day 7, so I would need to add two settings, to the mod, and it would just confuse people.

I might add a month option at some point, so you would have the option of day 7 or day 30.

Yeah I think it would cause users more trouble than it is worth, but I can look into it at some point, I got some ideas on how to do it.
