No, Lionel is the owner of vBcover.com. I also tried to connect now but nothing happens. Some 2 years ago he had some problems with his Hosting Provider and it was out for around 3 months.

his services suck anyway, I payed for icart (vbcart) i even went and upgraded it to the branding free because after speeking with him, i DID NOT want to advertise for him, now i dont even have access to the download for a product i purchased, and this was before the site even went down! i cant go and get them of a vb warez site cause its ioncubed to my website, i dont have a backup of the files, and when i tried talking to him about it, he told me i HAD TO RE BUY IT! wtffff, i even use the old ass version that dont get upgrades (for vb3)
when you purchase a internet product (look at vb for example) you should ALWAYS have access to said product, regardless how much time has passed. you just dont get updates for newer products like when/if vb6 came out, then i would have to upgrade to that or im stuck with vb5 and below, but still vbulletin even continues to support their old products, and not like im ever going to shy away from vb3 anytime soon any ways. but moral being Lionel is hot headed, hates having to help his paying customers, with always referring us to the forums, which DOES NOT cover everything, and when you have a source of a product incoded, youre deffiantly going to have more questions bud, since your the only one who knows how its working -_- so yup, now i cant even have a product i payed for, not like it was cheap or anything |

Honestly: You can't expect to have access to everything you bought online for all future. Especially not if buying from a single guy. Even if that guy is straightforward and with best intentions - he may have an accident or get sick or whatever. If you buy something online and download it, it is really your own responsibility to keep a local copy of that. Given todays hd sizes and cloud possibilities, that really shouldn't be an issue anymore.
