VERY Strange Problem
I have version 4.2.3
I am having a very strange and worrying problem. If a member reports a post the admins and mods get an email telling them that there has been a report. However a couple of these report emails have gone to people who are NOT admins or mods. In addition to this, on a couple of occasions I have got an email telling me I have a PM but when I look I have no PM. The PM was actually between two other people. Can anyone tell me what the hell might be going on here? Is this a 4.2.3 bug? On a related note, where and how do I report this on vB.com? |

Not sure I have heard that one before.
You can post here, http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/forum...roubleshooting If the staff feels it is a issue, they will have you start a support ticket. |

Thanks for that.
--------------- Added [DATE]1421706597[/DATE] at [TIME]1421706597[/TIME] --------------- Obviously "support" means something different to the people who run vBulletin than what I always thought it meant. I would have thought that this issue would be of some importance and concern to those selling the product but it seems I got that wrong. I posted in the support area as ozzy suggested and, to date, nothing, zero. I'm not the only one it seems either, if you have a look in there you will see a LOT of people who have had no responses to their questions. I guess if you don't respond to support requests you can stick your head in the sand and pretend there are no problems. That's my rant for the day. I'll leave it at that, maybe I'll look into some other product. |
