Post being auto cut
Not sure if thats the correct title but lengthy post in my forum after some time seem to be cut "Some of the original post missing" the bottom half
I don't seem to have any errors how could this bs happening? |

So when they are first posted, they are fine. And then several days (months?) later you will go look at the post and some of it will be missing? Did you check Thread Tools > Edit Thread to see if someone had edited the post?

Thanks for replying Lynne. I would say posts about a month or older & they was fine when posted and nobody has edited them.

Was anything changed on your server between when they were posted and when they got cut? And are they actually cut in the database, or just showing up as cut? Can we get a link to one of these posts to see what is up?

Have you tried on a unmodified default style?
Have you tried with all mods disabled? What vB version and PHP version are you running? To temporarily disable all mods, edit includes/config.php file and add this line right under <?php add the following. PHP Code:

It's missing from the post table also so the only thing I can think of is it messed up when I changed server some time ago
I will create a fairly large post in the staff section and watch it for a few weeks. |

It's possible that during the server move something went haywire and only transferred some of the text.
