Frequently Asked Questions.
Q. Why do I need such a thing, you ask?
A. Some admins might like to exclude certain forums from the RSS feeds without hiding the forums from guests.
Q. Can you add a forum selector list, so I don't have to manually type the forum id's I want excluded?
A. No, not at this time. I tried to do it that way, but for some reason it just does not work right.
Note: This will only work in theexternal.php?type=rss, external.php?type=rss1, external.php?type=rss2 and the external.php?type=html feeds. It will not work for the external.php?type=xml feed.

One more bug issue if Exclude Forums From RSS Feeds then does not Hide/Remove RSS Buttons, Also if go to external.php?type=RSS2&forumids=39 and show me forum ID , What forum I am Exclude Forums From RSS Feeds.
Your continued support is greatly appreciated ! Thank you !
Well this was not designed to remove the RSS button at all, this was to make it so if you go to, external.php?type=rss, external.php?type=rss1, external.php?type=rss2 and the external.php?type=html it will exclude the forums in the feeds.
Now of course if you go to a link directly, external.php?type=RSS2&forumids=39, it will of course show you the feed. Only way to not have it show is to not allow guests to see the forums contents.
It is kinda like having a forum, but you have it turned off. No one can see it, but if you know the link, you can go to it directly.
I can look into hiding the RSS buttons on the selected forums at some point. But I have another mod I am starting for someone so it may be a bit.
This mod doing Exclude or Include ? I did not see that mod are working. If i add forum ID 39 is my Exclude List then content are open for guests, If remove forum ID 39 is my Exclude List then content are not open for guest.
If enabled the mod Why the add number after forum title?
Hmmm, I am going to have to take a look into it. I have no clue why it shows the forum ID's, I have been fighting with that since starting the mod. I get them to go away, then at some random point they show up again.
Also what is it you mean by, " If i add forum ID 39 is my Exclude List then content are open for guests, If remove forum ID 39 is my Exclude List then content are not open for guest "
Are you saying that if You add 39 to the list, guests can see a forum that they can not normally see? Is this in the RSS feed, or on the site it's self?
Hmm, I am unable to replicate that. But I do see other issues with the mod. I think I am going to have to start from scratch. I have tried a couple of different things already, but nothing seems to work yet.
