Digital Point Sphinx Search interferes with Vbtulltin tag function

Just the past 2 days, I've experiences along with many members of my site reported that the vbulletin tag feature is not working.

Basically it doesn't allow anyone to open the "tag" feature within a thread/topic. It also asks for a password login http://i.imgur.com/VMGBqXk.png whenever i try to login to the tag admin page of vb which is very weird.

So i went to disable each plugin one by one until i came across Digital Point Sphinx Search and i disabled it and i can use vb tag feature and access its admin page.

What should be done to fix this issue? Digital Point Sphinx Search somehow is conflicting with vb main functions like the tag feature. When i view the source page i found this message "Your browser does not support frames. Please get one that does!"

Shawn is mia since July and no one on Digital point appears to help or reply to my thread, may be they don't know.

Katie, I think he was hoping you would post the solution in the thread, in case someone else runs into the issue.

She needed to redownload the Sphinx search and then reimport it with Allow Overwrite set to Yes.
