make edited post go to the top in the forum?

When you edit a post how come it does not put the post at the top of the forum area?
Is there a secret to it?

The only things that bump a thread up to the top are a new post or a new vote (if enabled).

That sounds like a bad deal!!
How did EZ Baord do this then? Is there a hack?

You do know that EZBoard isn't a vBulletin, right?

You make a post and then you want to edit it.
How do you get the post to go to the top again?

It would take some hacking.
