I have a 3.8.3 based forum that has a manual penalty imposed for cloaking and redirects. Despite not having any script/pop up/ advertisement etc., google keeps on declining the site reconsideration reports and insists that cloaking is still present.
I have a feeling that something in code is being interpreted as cloaking by googlebot and have used browseo to analyze. Sure enough it is showing a large part of code being interpreted as cloaking.
However it does not show exactly what I see in the source code obtained by visiting home page and selecting show source under view.
Does anyone know what code is being looked at by browseo?

does the same thing happen on a unmodifed style with all mods disabled?

Site link? Sometimes you can simply view the source to see the insertion (code and the location etc) however if your forum was hacked possibly I would check the plugin list look for anything suspicious and also check the style manager to see if any templates were recently modified.

First question i would ask is what mods do you have installed, give us a list and we can either confirm its a mod or help you look at other areas as to why this is happening
