View Profile
A supermoderator used to click users name, View profile, and was able to ban, see ip, etc. in vbulletin 3.7. View Profile doesn't have all the features that you can I can see as an Administrator in admincp, Users.
What can our mods do to see the users page? We are vbulletin 4.2.2 Thanks. |

In 3.7, I don't recall being able to see the IP or Ban the user directly from the profile page. Are you sure you didn't modify your templates to do that? I'm looking at my 3.8 test site and you can't do those things on a default style.
Can you show us n image of what you had and n image of what you want? |

There is also another plugin for this. Its called "Easy Mod Tools". I use it, and it made things so much easier for me and my staff. You can even use the Mod Tools right inside of Posts/Threads, and Ban/Edit etc...
Easy Mod Tools is HERE. |

Lynne, thank you so much for answering all my questions. I really appreciate it. Our webmaster gave the supermod access to admincp and that let him see what he wanted. I never used View Profile, so I don't know what he saw in 3.7.2. I assume it was the list in admincp/users/ Search for users/ username/ Quick User Links ...I mean the drop menu
Force and thetech, thanks for the links to the plugins. We will explore them, too. --------------- Added [DATE]1408083425[/DATE] at [TIME]1408083425[/TIME] --------------- UPDATE: The supermod didn't have our access to admincp features. BUT Just found something that solves the problem. Click a username. Click View Profile. Then click the pencil next to the username. YAY. The info is there |
