Content Encoding Error when installing vBShout
I apologize if this is a duplicate thread, but I've looked through many other threads regarding Content Encoding Errors and none of them seem to help me.
A little background first. I just recently upgraded my forums to vB5 5.1.1. I completely erased the prior 4.1 forums directory and extracted the vB5 package, then ran the upgrade tool to migrate the database. Prior to this I deleted all the vBulletin third party products I had installed. After getting nginx configured to work properly, I downloaded vBShout (vB5) v6.1.0a8 [Lite] and extracted the content of the uploads folder to my forum directory. I then went in to Hooks and Product and clicked Add/Import Product, then put Code:
./packages/dbtechvbshout/xml/product_dbtechvbshout.xml Code:

Content Encoding Error The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because it uses an invalid or unsupported form of compression. Oh, and as an FYI, I tried this is IE, chrome, and firefox with similar results. Only difference was that the progress bar animation only works in IE for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can easily repro this if there is a way to gather more information. |

This should be posted in the vBshout add-on thread..

Questions/Problems regarding modifications/styles need to be asked in the modification/style thread. That is where the support for modification/style is - not out here in the main forums. Please note that if a modification/style is unsupported (or even if it says it is supported), you may be on your own if you chose to install it.

I have discovered that every product I install results in this same error, not just vBShout. Can you link me to the proper place I should post this question?
