The main reason a post is not answered is because it does not contain enough information for anyone to really assist. The second would be that no one at the present time has any familiarity with the problem. In my case, I do not use vb3 or vbseo. At best, I can only offer a mediocre answer and it is this realization that tells me to move on to the next question, even if I wished to assist. In other-words, if I cannot be successful in answering your question -- should I be using my time in this fashion. I have become familiar with vb3 source code, but in general there are many others on vBulletin.org that are definitely more qualified in this area to assist you. All the charitable volunteer members I know on vbulletin.org try never to ignore other members posts. If your question is not being answered, add more content explain your situation with more depth, provide more data and especially list what remedies you have tried. That is a big eye catcher for us trying to assist and we will usually make an extra effort. It is hard to help the guys that just writes "I need help", it is kind of comical really. They leave a five word sentence and would like us to use 20 minutes of our time trying to play a guessing game to what they are actually looking for. Anyway, I know this does not answer your question, but at least you will understand you are not being ignored and why PM'ing does not help. --------------- Added 11 Jun 2014 at 19:50 --------------- The PM's really do not upset me. I just usually do not answer them because the board member has not added anymore content on his initial issue. Take Care. |

I do understand, was more an act of desperation. I really dont know what more to explain. I tried what someone told me to use the upgrade script again so the master tables get re-arranged or what not, but it didnt help.
So My question now would be, is there a way to take SOMETHING out of a backup that I have of the site and uploading it to the current one to fix it? Like the styles or what not. Basically asking if by having the backup if theres something in it I can take and upload it to fix that issue. I seriously dont know what else to think/do :/ |

Give this a few minutes, I think we significantly added attention to your situation. I really want one of the experts with vbSeo to ring in, before I answer.
If you do have a backup for the board, could you recover your old setup? Is the backup too old? |

Thats the exact reason why I dont want to use the backup, I failed to do one recently and the one i have is a couple months old.
Btw, The vbseo that I uninstalled and gave me the issue was the one by Crawlability/Vbseo version 3.0 which is nowhere to be found around the net. was looking for it to install it again and see if it fixes it but its nowhere to be found. Files are still in the ftp but i dont have the .xml to upload |

when you uninstalled vbseo, did you chose to remove all vbseo database data?

unfortunately, yes

then you uninstalled vbseo correctly if you also removed .htaccess?. so its images missing is the main issue here? like in threads and forums images are messed up?

yes. Main page is fine, then any other page is messed up no matter the skin I select.
