Private Forum Block Access
Good morning,
I realise this might be a long shot but I have to ask. I have a friend helping me with a server move and have given him access our current hosting control panel and of course the new hosting control panel. At some point he is going to need access to the AdminCP and I don't want him to be able to read the contents of a private Admin forum, I realise changing permissions is fruitless as if he notices he can merely change them back. Is there anyway I can change a .config or permissions PHP file utilising the forum ID and his user ID so he cannot access this forum ? Or is there another way ? Any help greatly appreciated. |

You can obfuscate and hide the forum, but if he has been granted privileges to the database there is nothing that cannot be discovered.

To be honest if you cant trust him with the contents of a forum then you definitely cant trust him with the entire forum and database!!!
In my experience wneh i help someone move or fix something i dont have the time to go browing their forum, it's usually in, do the job and out, no time for hanging around. |

As you have already given him access to the cpanel then you must trust him enough and he can do more damage in there than your admincp
