Hello,
i want to create an ACp-plugin with an own link on the left side. There should be to pages with lists and other settings. But i don't know how to program this. I think the normal xml-file only insert mods to the vBulletin-Settings area. greetings |

I'm not quite sure what you're saying, but by creating your own xml file in the includes/xml directory named cpnav_****.xml, you can add your own left side menus to the admin cp, or add items to the existing menus. Look at the existing file, like cpnav_vbcms.xml for example, which adds the vbulletin CMS menu.

Right, so you would create an xml file, name it starting with cpnav_, and put it in includes/xml. Look at the existing cpnav_*.xml files to see the format. The text uses phrases so you also have to create phrases for the options.
The navgroup tag in the xml has a displayorder attribute that you can use to place it where you want. The vbulletin menu has a displayorder=10, so you'd want to choose one that's > 10 but less than whatever dbtech vbshout is using. |
