I am using 4.2.2
I have searched and not been able to find how to moderate / edit posts and threads without having to enter our passwords every time.

To me it is annoying to have to enter my password every time I want to merge, move or edits posts and threads.

Any help would be appreciated.

AdminCP->Settings->Options->General Settings->Enable Inline Moderation Authentication

Set to no.

Even if you set that option to yes you should only have to put in your pass in the once from logging into the forums
