I've asked this question in the Vb 4.x section but no one replied. Probably there isn't a way ? If i have a friend who likes to convert from XF to VB 4.x is there a proper way of doing this? A plugin ?

There is no vBulletin supplied direct importer. If you can find some way to convert XF to phpBB or some other forum VB can import from that would work.

I also believe there are 3rd party services (that you have to pay) that can do the conversion, I've seen them before but do not recall their name/URL.
