Help Needed ASAP

Hello,
As my previous thread was also about vb 5 issues.
There are more issues which are faced and reported by users.
We are loosing our users and issues are not allowing new users to register on forum.
Listing some issues mentioned by users,Need solution for all.Hope you guys will help.

** The search function only seems to return posts made since the upgrade. For example searching the words 'scrog' or 'sonic'

shows me posts I have made today, yet I know I have used these words in several posts in the past. Same with the word

'supergrow' or 'super grow'

** First of all, hope all is well on your end of the internet. Secondly, Im having huge problems with the activation of my account. I have received the email where the activation link is, however, neither the activation link, nor the secondary link are working. Even copy and pasting them simply takes me to a Google search page that dead ends into nothing usable.

Also I need to add " New Posts " into navbar but I am not sure what target url to put there..Need help with this.

I am not a programmer nor web developer but I still try to search things to get fixed but I really need experts from here to help me as I don't understand much about vbulletin 5.

For search try this: Maintenance > General Update tools > Rebuild Search Index
For activation email: Setting this "activateaccount_gemailbody" phrase to default may work.
For new posts tab use this target url:

search?searchJSON=%7B%22date%22%3A%22lastVisit%22%2C%22view%22%3A%22topic%22%2C%22unread_only%22%3A1%2C%22sort%22%3A%7B%22lastcontent%22%3A%22desc%22%7D%2C%22exclude_type%22%3A%5B%22vBForum_PrivateMessage%22%5D%7D

^^ To add to what Seven Skins said about search, make sure the script runs completely through all the nodes. Sometimes people don't realize it has timed out. Watch it! Or run it via command mode.

Make sure you updated your phrases after the upgrade. If you had vB4 phrases for emails, they need to be updated to vB5 phrases in order to give the correct links.

How can I edit phrases and how can i check script runs completely through all nodes ? Please tell me

Did you try rebuilding the search index? Did you see it go from page to page to page and finally back to the beginning screen? If it finally came back to the beginning screen, then it should have successfully completely. If it just ends, then it didn't. And you edit phrases in Languages & Phrases > Phrase Manager (Search for Phrases to find them).
