Unique Award System mod Suggestion

I've seen a lot of award mods in here but they all involve a pretty complicated (relatively speaking) points system that gives points for everything from starting a thread to adding a poll.

I don't want to get into all that. I follow the classic K.I.S.S. strategy here (Keep It Simple, Stupid)

I'd like to see something that provides notice in the forum of an icon that a user is a forum record-holder.

Most posts in the month of May, 2012
Most posts in a single month, all-time
etc

No need for a points system. Just taking the stats that are there and rewarding the user for them. I have users who have hit 1000 posts in a month. Imagine if the record was 1400? Or imagine that a user has seven "top monthly poster" awards! Think of motivation there.

In the Admin CP we could set it how we like - top for the month, for the year, top posts, top rep, etc

Not looking to flood the forum with 1000 awards, but have just a handful of them that actually mean something.

I could, and maybe I will. I have a former vbulletin employee already thanks to elance. But I wanted to share my brilliance. No need to hog my genius ideas all to myself!
