How to change a members user group based on post count?
Hi all,
I run vBulletin 4.2 I want to set it up where when a user first joins, he goes into NEW MEMBERS user group... but once he hits 20 posts, I want him to be set to the regular MEMBERS user group... Thanks! |

ACP --> Usergroups --> Promotions, and set up an automatic promotion based on post count.

Yes, it does.
And unless you are a bit more detailed in how you set things up and what the exact results are, there's not much else anyone will be able to contribute further... |

You can force the user promotions to be done when you want by going into the Scheduled Task Manager > User Promotions - Run Now
From there you can also choose how often to run it, although personally I'd leave it on default and just force it if you need an update asap. |
