Ghost Visitor Message Notifications

A lot of my members are getting a notification from a visitor message that was deleted, it was a spammer that I mass deleted. I search around for some SQL queries I could run to clear the notifications, but i havent had any luck. Im running on vb 4.2.0 latest patch level if that helps
