Why cant I get this to work? [url]
I am trying to add a link to the welcome PM new members receive.
I add new member intro and it creates no link, I have also tried http://mysite.com/forumdisplay.php?88-New-Member-Intro neither produces a link. |

I don't think you can use html or bbcode in the phrase - is that what you are trying to do?

ACP > Settings > Options > User registration options > welcome private message
I add the text into the PM |

That is a phrase you're editing. Use HTML for the link, not the URL BBCode.

HTML doesn't work either.
<a href="link"> didn't work |

What is the HTML code you are using for the link?

You cannot use BBCode or HTML in that phrase. You may enter a link, but it isn't going to be an active link.

Weird, so I can use HTML or BB in other PM's but not the welcome pm?

I do believe you can, it would have to look something like this:
Code:
[url=http://mysite.com/forumdisplay.php?88-New-Member-Intro]Intro[*/url] |
