https SSL errors w/ Member's Profiles
Hi all. Made the switch to SSL and for the most part everything's gone smoothly.
However, on a few pages I'm getting SSL errors. This is one such page: forums/member.php?u=101 I've narrowed the problem down to the profile tabs, but haven't worked out if its a problem with prepared statements or referenced JS code or something different. --------------- Added [DATE]1393627673[/DATE] at [TIME]1393627673[/TIME] --------------- Ok. Found that the problem was related to the profile tabs, but not at all what I thought. The profile tab includes a tab for "Blog" and one of the blog posts (for the test profile I was using) included an image and that image was at an external http:// URL. Deleting the image from that blog post stopped the SSL errors. So now the question is really how to allow Blogs and Forums posts to use images, but only one's that have an https:// URL. I'm not keen on prohibiting image use, though I suppose making users first upload images to an album, and then inserting the image in a post is an option. |
