vbulletin login issues
every time people visit my vbulletin site they have to login and retype password EVEN when the -remember me- button was selected.
How can I fix this so people do not have to keep logging into the site? |

Sounds like the infamous WWW issue......
Try logging into your site using www.yoursitedotcom and without www, just using yoursitedotcom. Which are you having this issue with? |

--------------- Added [DATE]1392209531[/DATE] at [TIME]1392209531[/TIME] --------------- no that is not the problem - it happens when I leave the site for a while I think it automatically logs me out - I would like for the useers to always be logged in - |

Do you have remember me checked?
There is an edit here that will make it checked for all members |

Can we get a link to your site?
Do you have an .htaccess file effecting your site at all? (Default vbulletin has NO .htaccess file!) |

Yeah, make sure your cookies are set at default, your paths in site details are correct.
The www issue he is referring too is that if your domain is set as www and you do not add the www when you type in the address then your cookies will sometimes not allow a log in. or it could be the other way around that your domain is set to not use www. You can add something in your htaccess that will forward to the correct domain. For example, my site is set to not use any www. everyone who comes to the site though by adding the www will get the right domain without. |

I can not find anything that says htaccess - would that be under "cookies and http header options"? |
